Tri Loco, founded in 2012 by fitness enthusiasts Gregg Garcia and Bryan Schmidt, is more than just a triathlon club; it's a vibrant community united by a passion for pushing boundaries and having a blast. Rooted in the belief that the triathlon journey should be equal parts exhilarating and supportive, Tri Loco brings together athletes of all levels to race hard, reach personal milestones, and most importantly, revel in the camaraderie that defines the sport. With an impressive spectrum of events spanning from 5k's to ultra distance triathlons, Tri Loco members are a recognizable force across North America, thanks to their distinctive kits. But Tri Loco is about more than just the finish line – it's a tight-knit family. Indianapolis and Louisville chapters seamlessly blend through shared races, social gatherings, and an ever-active online community. Lifelong friendships have been forged, and even love stories kindled within the ranks of Tri Loco. This club embraces all athletes, from the spirited "party packers" to those tackling the pinnacle IRONMAN World Championship. Tri Loco isn't just about individual pursuits; it's a hub for collective growth. Boasting an array of triathlon coaches, the club hosts weekly swims, runs, and rides that cater to diverse goals. With accolades like IRONMAN club challenge awards and a title as a club national champion with USAT, Tri Loco is a force to be reckoned with.
